Outstanding 2022 VCE results

It is with great pleasure that we congratulate the Class of 2022 on their outstanding VCE results. Melbourne Grammar School’s strong representation at an elite level continues our long history of academic excellence.

Like most success, academic achievement does not occur by chance. Our students have largely worked with integrity, focus and diligence throughout their time at Melbourne Grammar. Their individual and collective results reflect their perseverance and positive approach.

I believe it is also the richness and depth of our holistic educational program which leads to such positive outcomes, both in and outside the classroom.

The Class of 2022 has left a positive mark on the School. They have contributed widely and with genuine commitment. They have demonstrated expertise across a broad range of areas including social justice, sport, music, debating, the visual arts and more.

I would also like to recognise the many fine teachers who have contributed to the boys’ academic achievements, from Prep at Grimwade House, right through to those guiding the boys this year. We are fortunate to have an exemplary body of teaching and professional staff at Melbourne Grammar. Without their expertise and dedication, the excellent 2022 VCE outcomes would not have been possible.

The ongoing support of parents and other family members should also be acknowledged for the impact this has on each student.

Of course, there are many measures of success, and an ATAR is only one of them. For many, it is simply a milestone that marks a new beginning.

It has been our role to prepare the Class of 2022 for their journey beyond the School gates and instil in them the desire and capacity to consistently seek to improve their own lives and, importantly, that of those around them.

I have been delighted to walk alongside this remarkable group of young men during our shared time at Melbourne Grammar and wish them well in their future endeavours.
