Many students across the School hold leadership positions, with campus and School Captainships being particularly venerable.
At Melbourne Grammar School, we encourage our students to view leadership as a collaborative experience that involves leading with and for others. Furthermore, we place emphasis on the ethical and moral aspect of leadership and expect it to be a fundamental element that underpins all leadership endeavours.

Behind the scenes
Every year at the School, it is customary to take a photo of the Captains along with the Headmaster and Heads of Campus.
Prior to the event, the group typically enjoys lunch together, which allows younger leaders to meet their senior counterparts and for older leaders to gain a broader understanding of the students they represent.
We invite you to watch this brief video that takes you behind the scenes of the 2023 Captains’ photoshoot.
