Belgian illustrator Bert ‘Musketon’ Dries instigated a crowd funded collaborative art project to illustrate 100 different houses from around the world in 2017. The project was called ‘Vector City’.
Here, Year 7 students draw on Dries work for inspiration, and use Adobe Illustrator to create an illustrated house for inclusion in Wadhurst’s own version of ‘Vector City’.
This real-world project provided a compelling framework for the Year 7 students to learn about digital illustration in a collaborative setting as well as develop their design and illustration skills.
The artwork in this exhibition was produced during a period of off-campus learning.
