Simon
Simon and his classmates created greeting cards to accompany food and toy hampers for the Port Phillip Community Group, that provides a range of programs and services to the community.
Evie
After completing a poetry unit, Year 5s select a piece to memorise, choreograph and recite. Last year, Evie selected The Tummy Beast by Roald Dahl, which she performed to her class and wider cohort, demonstrating her ability to comprehend poetry language, structure, and meaning.
City explorers
Across the week-long Melbourne Experience program, Wadhurst students and their Melbourne Girls Grammar peers deepen their understanding of urban environments by creating short documentaries that capture how the city has changed culturally, historically, and socially.
Accessible design innovators
Senior School students Rudy and Angus created solar lamp attachments for water bottles using CAD and 3D printing technologies. Their peers Fred and Gianni used similar practices to create cutlery with modifications for people living with disabilities.
Passionate communicators
Our state and national-level debaters demonstrate creative thinking and communication, broaching the topics that affect our world today. In the video, Siddharth, Lachlan, Hugo, and their peers considered the topic ‘That the internet enhances democracy’.
Community-minded individuals
The School’s boarding house is a place where students have the opportunity to exceed their own expectations within a community that offers a true sense of belonging.
